Helping to inform and inspire young people
Creative Digital Careers is an exciting project, funded through the European Social Fund. Led by New City College, it is one of 12 such projects commissioned by the Greater London Authority. Working with six schools in East London, we are supporting young people to have a greater understanding - and better access to, the numerous and varied creative and digital roles on their doorstep.
Check out our exciting projects that employers and students are taking part in.
The purpose of this pilot is to encourage participants to explore the uses of emerging technologies to benefit the lives of socially excluded groups (learning disability, autism, older people etc).
View ProjectThis pilot focuses on the creative industry and how it can be used within other sectors. It explores music therapy and introduces the concept of an alternative career route using music.
View ProjectThis pilot guides students through the process of creating a mobile app. This includes initial concept through to producing a working prototype – with no coding skills required. If this pilot is successful, we will look to include a second phase, where students can take their prototype into production.
