Helping to inform and inspire young people
All of the students from Chobham Academy who took part in this project, said that they knew more about technology than when they started. Perhaps more importantly, they realised that it could be used to really benefit people's lives.
Shakiel commented "I learned about lots of different types of technology that I wouldn't have been able to find out about. It's not just about games. Technology can be used in businesses and to help other people."
Additionally, only 3 out of 17 pupils knew what "social action" was when they started. But now, not only do all of them know what it means - but they have demonstrated how an emerging technology can benefit socially excluded groups.
