Helping to inform and inspire young people
A brilliant group of students! 20 level 2 students from New City College’s Tower Hamlets Campus took part in this introduction to mobile apps. It was a huge group of students to deliver to, but App Workshops didn’t seem phased at all!
After an introduction, students worked in groups to come up with their mobile app ideas. These included:
Helping Hand – this is a homeless app, where people can use geolocation, to identify people that might be in need.
VW (victim world) – anti-bullying app, which links into schools who sign up to the system.
DLR checker – helps you to check key information for the DLR. K
Knife Stopper – aimed at tackling knife crime.
Tuition help – an app that helps with school / college work.
Great ideas everyone!
