Helping to inform and inspire young people
The two students who took part in the clinical session with New City College students fed back to their peers. They said that it was amazing to see the progress the students made in such a short space of time.
They also were suprised that they saw the students as people - and not just as a disability. It taught them a lot about disabilities and how it's ok for them to make their own choices. So many times, their told what to do - but music gives them autonomy within their often restrictive lives.
One of the students definitely wants to continue exploring it as a career option. Good luck!
